How To Make Frozen Sorbet
How To Make Frozen Sorbet Video Demonstration
In this video, you get to watch and learn how to make all natural frozen fruit sorbet with bananas and strawberries with the Omega J8006.
A lot of people don’t know this juicer does much more than juicing. With a simple switch of the screen, you can go from juicing to making sorbet in no time.
Berries in general are not great for juicing. They don’t have too much liquid and they are quite expensive. But, they are perfect for making frozen sorbet!
Bananas are delicious, but you CAN’T juice them. They are also perfect for making sorbet. They add a rich, creaminess that makes you think you are eating ice cream.
What you want to do is clean them, peel them if necessary, and cut them into small pieces.
If you want a smoother sorbet, run it through the machine twice, as shown in the video. I personally like it more grainy.
You can substitute the strawberry with just about any kind of berries. What I like to do is experiment and see what I can come up with. It is so much fun.
Another desert you can make is Popsicles (you’ll need Popsicle molds). Just fill the molds with the sorbet, insert the handles, and freeze them. What you will get is 100% all natural sweet treats with no added sugar, chemicals or preservatives.
Kids will LOVE IT. It’s a great way to teach them about healthy eating while making it fun and exciting. What are you waiting for? Get out your Omega 8006 Nutrition Center and starting making some healthy sorbet.
