Omega 8006 vs 8003
Omega 8006 vs 8003 Comparison
There are quite a few difference between these two juicers. They are both really popular, they are both made by a very respected company, and they are both quite capable. Is one better than the other?
We’ll answer the question: What is the difference between the Omega 8006 and 8003?
There are quite a bit of differences between the J8006 vs J8003, so, let’s get started.
Color: The Omega 8006 has a black and chrome finish, and the Omega 8003 has a white finish.
Handle: The handle on the 8006 is built in, which is more sturdy. The 8003 has a flip up handle.
Base Cover: The base of the Omega 8006 Juicer has a more modern cover at the base of the juicer. The Omega 8003 doesn’t.
Food Tray: It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but the food tray on the Omega 8006 is bigger.
Juice Bowl/Pulp Bin: Also not show in the photos, but they are both bigger in the Omega 8006. It comes in very handy when you want to make large quantity of juice.
Design wise, I think the Omega 8006 has the upper hand. The black and chrome, along with the base cover definitely has a more modern and sleeker look. The bigger food tray, juice bowl, and pulp bin makes juicing easier.
Auger: The material used on the Omega 8006 is called GE Ultem. It is 8 times stronger than the one used in the 8003.
On and Off Switch Location: The Omega 8003′s switch is on top of the juicer, which is prone to water damage…we all know water and electronic devices don’t mix, right? The Omega 8006′s switch is on the back of the juicer, away from where spills can happen.
Warranty Length: The Omega 8003 has a 10 year warranty, which is pretty incredible. The Omega 8006 went even further by giving it the best warranty in the juicer business at 15 years!
As far as performance goes, this round will also go to the Omega 8006. The auger takes the most abuse in a juicer, and the Omega 8006 has one that’s 8 times stronger than the 8003′s. The location of the on/off switch prevents the Omega 8006 from accidental water damages. And finally, the extra 5 years warranty you get with the Omega 8006 makes it even more enticing.
With all the above improvements, the Omega 8006 is usually around $80 to $90 more than the 8003. Now, you’d think with the price difference, more people would choose the 8003, but in reality, the 8006 is the more popular model by far.
I can only show you my finding, the buying decision is still up to you. I have included the links to the best prices on both juicers. For a limited time, you also get free shipping, but I don’t know how long that’s going to last. I personally recommend Zappos just because their shipping and return policy is so much better.

I think this is pretty simple. Everything points to the 8006 as the better choice. It’s designed better, made better, and with a much better warranty. It is a little bit pricier, but if you think about how long you are going to keep this juicer, it does seem like a great investment.
