Let me just say that you’ve made a great decision when you picked Omega. They have been in business a long time, and their reputation is well know.

Even within the Omega brand, there are many different models.

Today, we will take a look at the Omega J8006 Juicer. There has been a lot of buzz about this juicer.

And a lot of people would like to know if it lives up to the hype.

When I was looking for a juicer, I had a few requirements the juicer must meet. They are:

  • High Quality Juice
  • Great With Leafy Greens and Wheatgrass
  • Easy Cleaning
  • Long Warranty

Even though this is my personal check list, I know this list applies to a lot of you guys out there. I think you’ll find it very helpful.

Let’s get started. :)

Omega j8006 Nutrition Center Commercial Masticating Juicer

I Want The Highest Quality Juice!

Aren’t all juices about the same? Absolutely not! It’s like saying the meat from fast food places is the same as 5 star gourmet restaurants. There is a huge difference and I’m here to clear it up.

A juicer’s job is to separate the liquid from the fiber. Two of the most popular ways to do that is 1.) centrifugal, and 2.) masticating.

Centrifugal juicers shred up the vegetables into tiny pieces with a cutting blade that spins at up to 15,000 RPM and uses a screen to separate the juice.

Masticating juicers use an auger that spins at only 80 RPM to crush and squeeze the pulp to release the juice.

What a lot of people don’t know is that fresh juice is very sensitive. And two of the biggest enemies to fresh juice is heat and oxidation.

The fast spinning blade in a centrifugal juicer creates heat, which warms up the juice. Also, the air vortex created by the blade mixes a lot of air into the juice.

The result is a juice that is less tasty, less nutritious, and goes bad sooner.

A masticating juicer, like the Omega 8006 Juicer, uses an auger that only spins at 80 RPM, there is no heat generation, nor is there any chance of the juice getting mixed in with air, which means no oxidation.

What you will end up with is the best tasting juice, with the most nutrients, and keeps for much longer in the fridge.

Ask yourself this question: Do you want high quality juice or low quality juice?

I think the answer is pretty clear.

Does It Juice Leafy Green Vegetables?

Are you serious? This juicer is MADE to juice leafy greens. One of the biggest complaints about centrifugal juicers is how inefficient they are at juicing leafy greens. People often find big chunks of un-juiced pieces in the pulp bin. Check out this video to see it in action. This particular model on the other hand, uses a slow masticating action that grinds and breaks up the fiber to release the juice.

How Well Does It Juice Wheatgrass?

In this video, you can see it going through wheatgrass with ease. It also great with juicing leafy greens and fruits. I also want you to pay attention to how easy it is to clean. It literally took him less than a minute!

He also mentioned couple other Omega Models in the video, and you can get the full comparison here. There is more than just price difference.

Is The Pulp Dry?

dry pulp

Super Dry Pulp

Dry pulp means more juice. Dry pulp also means last waste. Though centrifugal juicers do an ok job at extracting juice, the major still complain about wet pulp. That is equal to money in the trash can.

It uses a slow juicing action and 2 stage juicing to extract the most juice. The pulp is very dry. Another advantage it has over centrifugal juicer is the ability to juice the pulp. You can actually feed the pulp into the juicer and extract even more juice.

How Long Is The Warranty!

warranty15 years! That is the longest warranty of any juicer on the market!

Do you know what kind of warranty is offered on a typical centrifugal juicer? 1 Year!

Would you rather do business with a company that offers a 15 year warranty or a 1 year warranty?

The Winner Is Announced.

It’s no surprised the Omega J8006 Juicer has been getting so many great reviews by people all over the world. Everything about this juicer spells quality.

Best quality juice, check. Great with leafy greens and wheatgrass, check. Best warranty in the bussiness, check. Super easy to clean, check. Making pasta, sorbet, nutbutters, check. Great price point, check.

It makes better juice, it extracts more juice, the juice lasts longer, and the juice retains the most nutrient. If you are serious about juicing, then you found the right juicer.

I Want The Best Deal.

omega j8006 saleI got you covered. I don’t like to spend anymore money than I have to, I’m sure you feel the say way.

That is why I’ve been looking all over the internet, trying to find the best deal. And I’m happy to report that I found it. has the best deal!

There are a lot of places to shop, but none better than Amazon. I found them to have the best deal on this particular juicer. Not on price, but they also offer the best free shipping.

This juicers been selling like hot cakes, you might want to hurry before it’s sold out.

What Else Should I Know?

I Want A Super Strong Auger.

omega 8006 juicer auger

J8006 Auger

You got the right idea. The auger needs to be strong to take the punishment of crushing hard fruits and vegetables. The auger on the Omega j8006 juicer is made from a new material called GE ULTEM. It is 8 times stronger than other materials.

How Easy Is It To Clean?

Extremely easy! It will take you less than 2 minutes to completely clean the juicer. The Omega J8006 Juicer has very few parts. And it has a small filter screen, which is the hardest part of the juicer to clean. That will cut down on cleaning time drastically.

Centrifugal juicers take a long time to clean because the screen is so big, tiny little food particles gets stuck in them, and you have to really brush them out.

Is the Juice Foamy?

Do you know how to make foam? By adding air. And that is what centrifugal juicers do very well. The model j8006 juicer on the other hand, is a masticating juicer. It doesn’t mix air into the juice, which means you get very little foam, if at all.

Is The Juice Pulpy?

If you like your juice pulp free, you will love the j8006 Nutrition Center. Technically, the juice is filtered 3 times. Twice while juicing, and one last time before it pours into the collection bowl. What does that mean? No Pulp!

Centrifugal juicers have only one filter, that’s why a lot of people complain about pulpy juice.

Does It Clog?

There is a really slim chance it will clog. When you cut up the veggies, it greatly reduces the chance of clogging. Also, since this juicer uses a slow grinding and crushing action, it thoroughly chews up the veggies and spits it out.

In the rare chance it does clog, there is a switch that reverses the juicer and unclogs it in a matter of seconds.

Does It Make A Lot Of Noise?

Not at all. A lot of reviews have mentioned how quiet it is. You can stand right next to it, while its running, and have a normal conversation.

A lot of centrifugal juicers runs at 10,000 RPM, which makes it sound like a jet engine. This one only runs at 80 RPM, which barely makes any noise.

How Big Is The Juicer?

omega j8006 juicer

J8006 Size

The Omega J8006 Juicer measures 14-1/2 by 6-1/2 by 15-1/2 inches.

Unlike centrifugal juicers, which are big and round, this juicer’s slender design takes up less room.

If you choose to leave it out on the counter, you’ll have more space to work with.

Since the design is skinny, you can tuck it in the corner or against the wall.

You’ll have plenty of space left.

It is perfect for small apartments or a crowded kitchens.

What Are Some Common Complaints?

If you’ve done any research on the Omega J8006, then you’d know complaints are few and far between.  I think it’s important to separate complaints from preferences.

There are no defects, just couple of things a few people have mentioned.

Speed of the juicer.  The J8006 is a slow juicer.  That isn’t an afterthought.  Omega designed it that way.  It is supposed to be slow.  As we have discussed before, slow juicing preserves all the nutrients, and it is much better at juicing leafy greens and wheatgrass.  This is actually the exact reason why more advanced juicers preferred it.

Small feed tube.  It does take a bit more prep time.  You have to cut the fruits or veggies into smaller pieces.  It’s not all bad though.  Most people don’t realize this, but the small food chute is also designed that way.  Two things the J8006 is really good at is retaining nutrition, and high yield.  And part of the reason it gets such high yield is because you have to cut it all up into smaller chunks, and smaller chunks are much easier to juice, resulting in more juice.

What’s My Thought?

This is just my opinion, but I believe this is the best choice out there if you want the best quality juice.  Unless you want to spend over $1000, you can not go wrong with the Omega J8006.

Name it and the J8006 does it.   Leafy green, done.  Wheatgrass, done.  Fruits, done.  Pasta, nut butter, sorbet, done, done, done!

It’s very easy to clean, it’s very easy to use, it is extremely efficent, and it has a 15 year warranty, which is the longest in the business.

The sentiment is echoed by hundreds of perfect reviews.  Just about everyone loves this juicer.

I Want The Best Price.

dealWhy would you?  And I’ve made it even easier by comparing prices at two of the best onine stores.  By checking both places, you can see who has the best price.

Both these place offer free shipping which is a huge plus.  And for most people, you don’t have to pay sales tax.

In my experience, it is best to stick to reputable online shops.  I’ve been scammed a couple of times to tell you from personal experience.

I just want to warn you I don’t know how long this sale will go on.  If you see it on sale, don’t l
